~ TOURS & WORKSHOPS ~

~ North Sutor - Nigg ~

Our walk is a variation of the normal 'Nigg Circular Route' as we will start at the summit of Nigg Hill which minimises the strenuous ascent without compromising the views.

Starting at 146 metres above sea level you will have spectacular views over the Cromarty Firth and out to the North Sea.

We then set off on a gentle 10 minute walk across scenic farmland to explore a variety of World War II Military buildings, including those which housed machine guns protecting the Firth. We will spend approximately 2 hours in various locations close to the bunkers and if conditions allow, I will show you where the most hidden look-out posts are, (not pictured).

Photography Tuition:

In addition to guiding you through some amazing terrain and spectacular scenery, I will be most happy to impart my photography knowledge.  Whether you are shooting on a digital camera, a smart phone, or on old school analogue / film equipment, I have a wealth of knowledge; my speciality is shooting in difficult environments.

As this is a tailored photo-walk experience, I want you to make best use of your time with me, so please email in advance with the themes of photography that you are interested in learning about.

The goal of this experience is for you to take control of your device and shoot on the 'manual' setting based on the conditions we experience on the day!
